The Gambia is best known for its colourful variety of bird life. These shots were taken from a boat on the river and walking through the edge of the forest and the town’s plantations where the birds wait for the gardens to be watered so that they can drink fresh water. A huge thanks goes to Malick Suso, Gambia’s leading wildlife specialist, who spent the morning walking me thought the forest and pointing out the wildlife.
